Fortune teller

1. 

   1. Crease both diagonals

   White side up. Fold one corner to the opposite corner and unfold, then do the same along the other diagonal.

2. 

   2. Fold the four corners to the center

   Fold each of the four corners to the center point. You get a smaller diamond.

3. 

   3. Turn over

   Turn the whole paper over. The flaps go underneath.

4. 

   4. Fold the corners to the center again

   Again fold the four corners to the center point. You get a small square showing eight triangles.

5. 

   5. Fold in half both ways and unfold

   Fold in half bottom to top and unfold, then left to right and unfold.

6. 

   6. Fold in half and stand it up

   Fold the bottom half up: the numbered triangles go inside and the four squares are on the outside. Hold it upright with the fold at the bottom.

7. 

   7. Open it with your fingers

   From below, slide your thumbs and index fingers into the four pockets under the squares and push the two ends toward the middle. The pockets puff out and four pointed beaks meet at the top. Your fortune teller is ready!
