Steps at a glance
1. Flower: fold into a triangle
Flower sheet white side up as a diamond. Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
2. Flower: fold one petal
Fold the right corner up and across from the bottom center so its point sticks out past the left edge.
3. Flower: fold the other petal
Fold the left corner up and across the same way, on top.
4. Flower: fold the bottom tip behind
Fold the bottom tip behind to make the base flat.
5. Stem: crease the center
Now the stem. Green sheet white side up as a diamond: fold and unfold the vertical diagonal.
6. Stem: fold the sides to the center
Fold both top edges to the center line to make a kite.
7. Stem: narrow it again
Fold the two folded edges to the center line again to make it thinner.
8. Stem: fold in half
Fold the right half over the left. It becomes a thin stem.
9. Stem: make the leaf
Fold the bottom end up at an angle to make a leaf.
10. Put the flower on the stem
Slide the stem’s pointed top up into the back of the flower, under the folded-back flap. Your tulip is done!
